The quickest way to reach the editors is by email. Include the date and place of your event if you are sending a notice, and add a phone number only if it is meant to be published.

What to send

• Notices - a few lines about what is happening, when, and where.
• Corrections - the edition and the detail that needs changing.
• Photographs - one or two images, ideally landscape and taken in daylight.
• Suggestions - sections you would find useful, or things we should stop doing.

Deadlines

Items that arrive before Thursday evening usually appear in the weekend digest. Anything later is carried into the following week. Time-sensitive notices, such as a road closure starting the next morning, are added as soon as they are checked.
