About us
About the bulletin
The TDC Bulletin is a small, independent digest of community news. It is written and edited by a handful of residents who got tired of important notices being buried under everything else.
How items are chosen
We ask three questions about every submission. Does it affect people who live or work nearby? Is the practical detail clear, such as a date, a time or a place? And can we point readers to the right place for more information? If the answer to any of those is no, we usually hold the item until it is clearer.
We do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not run sponsored posts. Anything that looks like an advertisement is labelled as one or left out.
Corrections
Mistakes happen, especially when dates get copied from a poster that has since been changed. Corrections are added to the relevant edition with a short note rather than quietly deleted. If you spot something wrong, tell us which edition and what should change.
Editorial independence
The bulletin has no political affiliation. During election periods we publish factual notices, such as polling station details, and leave commentary to other outlets. The aim is a page you can trust for the basics.
How it is funded
Running costs are small and covered by the editors. There is no subscription, no paywall and no tracking script beyond basic server logs used to keep the site online.
